Uranus Finance ("the App") is a personal finance tracking application. This policy explains how the App handles your information.
The App itself does not collect, transmit, or share any of your financial data with us or any third party. Uranus Finance has no backend server and no analytics SDK. The only data-related component is the advertising described below.
All information you enter — transactions, categories, budgets, debts, people, and app settings — is stored locally on your device in a private SQLite database. This data:
The App includes an optional "Export data as CSV" feature. When you use it, the App generates a CSV file on your device and hands it to your device's native share sheet. You then choose which app (email, cloud drive, messaging app, etc.) to send that file to, if any. We have no visibility into, or control over, what you do with the exported file.
The App displays ads (banner and interstitial) served through Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, Google Mobile Ads may collect and process device and usage information (such as advertising identifier, IP address, device attributes, and interactions with ads) under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store this information ourselves — it is handled directly between your device and Google. Your financial data (transactions, budgets, debts, etc.) is never shared with AdMob or any advertiser.
Depending on your region and device settings, you may be shown a consent prompt for personalized ads, and you can control ad personalization and reset your advertising identifier at any time from your device's system settings (e.g. Settings → Privacy → Ads on iOS, or Settings → Ads on Android).
The App requests network/internet access so the bundled Google Mobile Ads SDK can request and display ads, and so it may generate and share the CSV export described above. No camera, microphone, contacts, or location permissions are requested or used by the App.
You can delete all app data at any time from Settings → Delete all data, or by uninstalling the App, which removes the local database completely.
The App does not knowingly collect personal or financial information from anyone, including children. If the App is configured or accessed in a way that indicates a child-directed audience, ad requests are made with appropriate settings to limit personalized advertising, consistent with Google AdMob's policies for child-directed treatment.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Since the App does not collect contact information, we cannot notify you directly; please check this page periodically.
