UStore Management (package: com.opersontech.uranusstoremanagement, "the App") is a store/inventory management application covering sales, purchases, inventory, customers, suppliers, cash book, and employee records. This policy explains how the App handles your information.
The App itself does not collect, transmit, or share your business data with us or any third party. UStore Management has no backend server and no analytics SDK. The only data-related component is the advertising described below.
All information you enter — products, categories, units, stock levels and stock history, purchase receipts, suppliers, sales orders, customers, cash transactions, employee profiles, work schedules, leave, payroll, and app settings — is stored locally on your device in a private SQLite database. This data:
The App includes an optional Backup feature that exports all of your store data to a JSON file and hands it to your device's native share sheet, and an Import feature that lets you pick a previously exported JSON file to restore data. You control where an exported file is sent (email, cloud drive, messaging app, etc.), and we have no visibility into, or control over, what you do with it. Because this file can contain business data such as customer names and employee records, keep exported backup files somewhere secure.
The App requests camera access solely to scan product barcodes/QR codes within the app (e.g. when adding or looking up a product). The camera feed is processed on-device to read the barcode value; no photos, video, or camera images are captured, stored, or transmitted. Depending on the device/OS, the underlying camera library may declare microphone or storage-related permissions it does not use for this purpose — the App does not record audio or access your photo library.
The App displays ads (banner and interstitial) served through Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, Google Mobile Ads may collect and process device and usage information (such as advertising identifier, IP address, device attributes, and interactions with ads) under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store this information ourselves — it is handled directly between your device and Google. Your business data (products, customers, employees, financials, etc.) is never shared with AdMob or any advertiser.
Depending on your region and device settings, you may be shown a consent prompt for personalized ads, and you can control ad personalization and reset your advertising identifier at any time from your device's system settings (e.g. Settings → Privacy → Ads on iOS, or Settings → Ads on Android).
The App requests: camera access (barcode/QR scanning, described above); network/internet and Wi-Fi state access so the bundled Google Mobile Ads SDK can request and display ads and so Backup/Import can hand files to other apps; storage access on older Android versions (Android 12 and below) to read/write the backup JSON file; and advertising-related permissions (such as the advertising ID and Android's AdServices attribution/topics permissions) used exclusively by Google Mobile Ads to serve and measure ads, as described in the Advertising section below. The underlying Google Mobile Ads SDK may also declare a "display over other apps" permission on some Android versions for its own fraud-prevention purposes; the App does not use this permission for anything itself. No location or contacts permissions are requested or used by the App.
If you use the App to record employee profiles, schedules, leave, payroll, or customer/supplier contact details, that information is entered by you, the store operator, and stored locally as described above. You are responsible for having any consent required by applicable law to store such records on your device, and for keeping your device secure.
You can delete individual records from within the App, or remove all app data at once by uninstalling the App, which removes the local database completely.
The App is a business/store-management tool not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad requests are made with appropriate settings to limit personalized advertising where required, consistent with Google AdMob's policies for child-directed treatment.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Since the App does not collect contact information, we cannot notify you directly; please check this page periodically.
